SUMMARY:Scavenger Hunt - Mathews Park
DESCRIPTION:Participants will search for clues among architectural details\, hidden messages\, signage\, and objects at the Museum and in Mathews Park.\n\n\n~ Recommended for ages 5 and up ~ \nThe Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum will launch its 4th Scavenger Hunt  in collaboration with Stepping Stones Museum for Children\, the Center for Contemporary Printmaking\, Cultural Alliance of Fairfield County and The Norwalk Art Space.  \nThis year\, the theme of the Scavenger Hunt is recycling and sustainability. While having fun hunting for clues in Mathews Park\, around the exterior facades of all five buildings\, and inside the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum\, scavenger hunters will learn about different perspectives on “going green” and being aware of the human impact on the environment. Participants will have to bring their “A game” and problem-solving skills to win the top prizes. Children must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian. \nScavenger Hunt tickets are $5 per person and may be purchased online at LMMM on the day of the event. All tickets for the Scavenger Hunt include admission to the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum. No discounts can be offered to LMMM members\, but participation will serve as a donation to a great cause! The hunt begins at 12 p.m. with last entry at 3:15 p.m. Prizes will be awarded to the lucky winners at a later date.  \nPhotography policy: \nBy purchasing a ticket to this event\, you hereby give the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum of Norwalk\, Inc.
